Paisley Student Selected for Governor's School |

Autumn Banner, a student at Paisley IB Magnet School, is among 39 juniors and seniors chosen to represent Forsyth County at the 2007 Governor's School.
Governor's School is a six-week summer program for academically and intellectually gifted students. Students invited to attend the program were nominated by their local school superintendent, charter school director or private school headmaster. Students are nominated in one of 11 areas.
Autumn was selected to attend in the instrumental music category.
Governor's School of North Carolina is the oldest statewide summer residential program for academically and intellectually gifted high school students. The program is open to rising seniors only, with exceptions made for rising juniors in the performing/visual arts area.
Paisley is a magnet school for the IB Middle Years Programme and is open to students in grades 6 through 10.
