Jeanette Balwah, a language arts teacher at Paisley IB Magnet School,
received a $1,000 Target Field Trip Grant to help fund a tour of Washington, D.C.,
for 160 students.
Students from Paisley toured the Smithsonian
Museum, the U.S. Capitol, the
Smithsonian National Air and Space
Museum and the Jefferson
Memorial.
Paisley is a magnet school for the
International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and is open to students in
grades six through 10.
Target Field Trip Grants help pay for learning experiences outside the

students across the nation.
