As part of becoming a magnet school, Mineral Springs has new classroom learning labs, including desktop and laptop computers, ACTIVboards, digital and video cameras, printers and LCD projectors. Classroom computers are being used to enhance students' learning and help them develop and present their research projects.

The school also has purchased collapsible, mobile learning labs for students' research and for community experts to use when they visit the school to work with students.  The school system also has spent about $4.7 million to renovate Mineral Springs Elementary School's classroom building.

Take US 52 north to Akron Dr. exit, go right to Ogburn Ave; turn left. Go 1 mile. First school on right; park in front. Office is second door on right.
