Making Global Connections Lessons and projects are designed to help students develop an appreciation and broader understand of their community, themselves and their place in the world. Students work both independently and collaboratively to make global collections by:

- Investigating geographical relations between cultures
- Researching economics and development of diverse nations
- Examining technological influences
- Comparing and contrasting government and citizenship
Using Technology to Learn About OthersConnections with students in other countries are an important part of the learning experience at Diggs-Latham. Students use podcasts, wikis and email to brainstorm and share ideas with children throughout the world.
